Dr. Umar Johnson is a Doctor of Clinical Psychology and Certified School Psychologist who is considered an expert on the education and mental health of Afrikan and Afrikan-American children. His accomplishments are many. Most recently, Dr. Umar is working on building his new school, The Frederick Douglass & Marcus Garvey RBG International Leadership Academy for boys.

Dr. Johnson’s perspectives on issues concerning Black life in the USA are powerful, Black affirming and sobering. Some find his perspectives on Black boys, effeminacy and homosexuality controversial.
