One actress that we can commend for staying on top of their game is the amazingly talented Halle Berry. For a while she was recognized as one of the most beautiful women in the world, and at 47 years old she is still killing the game.
Berry has been making power moves since she began her career in 1989, and she is still bringing in the racks to this day. Berry has been featured in more than a handful of films, and she stand as one of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood.
Her IMDB profile reveals that the actress earned $10M for her performance in the film Perfect Stranger (2007), $14M for Catwoman (2004), $6M for Gothika (2003), and $4M for her work on the film Die Another Day (2002). That is not even half of the films that Berry has starred in, but those four handed her big bucks.
Aside from being a phenomenal actress, Berry used to be a fashion model. She is also a current spokesperson for the cosmetic brand Revlon. She started in 1996 and remained a spokesperson for seven years. She renewed her contract in 2004.
Berry’s beauty is one of her most popular attributes, and it has been that way since she first began. Playboy magazine named her among the 100 Sexiest Women of the Century in 1998, and in 2008 she was named the Sexiest Woman Alive by Esquire magazine. She was getting recognition left and right for being ridiculously gorgeous, but she never let that get to her head nor did she let it knock her off of her business tip.
Berry used her acting platform to her benefit. She launched a self-titled fragrance in 2008, and it became the best-selling fragrance in the beginning of 2009. It did well in stores such as Target, Walgreen’s and Kohl’s. She also launched a revamp of Scandale Paris, a famous French lingerie brand. Berry’s version is a little less expensive, but it is still classic and elegant.
Ms. Berry is really out here collecting her coins. Though she has been in the public eye a few times for messy divorces and court cases, her hustle has not ceased. She is has been putting in work for over ten years, and we do not see any signs of her slowing up.
Ms. Berry is to be admired. She is doing so much right now, and we have no idea what she has in store for us next. Whatever it may be, though, we are definitely here for it!
